How to Purchase the New Tire
Hello everyone and welcome to our website kashinaz.blogspot.com. In this article, we will talk about tires. Before that, if you dint visit our last article then I have given the link to the page or click here to visit. It's actually a controversial article I have not to write that article to get viral. Actually, the only moto behind that article is everyone knows about car tires.
So this article is actually about tires. So I am not going to tell you tire maintenance or tire tips. Actually all about how to purchase the new tire. What are the points to be remembered and in youtube already so many videos is their about tires maintenance and tips in all languages so many videos are there? This content article is not available in any language. Before buying tires what are the points to be remembered in this content video that is not available in youtube?
So I thought why not I can write an article in this topic. I need an important item now, to explain to you guys is a tire where is it? so now we have a tire to explain to you actually it's a sample to show you all. It's my car tire so using this I will explain to you very thing about tires. Before buying a new tire it will be very helpful for you guys when you purchase a new tire. -1 how to check tire manufacture date So the first point is how to check the tire manufacture date.
Everyone is buying new tires but how many of you check the manufacture date? do you know how to check it? In all tires manufacture date is compulsory and it will be given by the manufacture itself in some tires you can find the four-digit numbers and in few tires, these numbers will be mixed with alphabetic and numeric in. You can see the number of digits in the group so as you can see here. I will show you in this tire, it's here I will put the picture in the display so it is in four digits and the first two digits will indicate which week in that year, for example in 2020 - 04 week means Feb month so the next two digits will indicate which year so in this tire 1218, it means what 12th week in 2018 12 weeks is nothing but March month so march month 2018.
This tire was manufactured so why manufacture date is important in a tire. I if you purchase a new tire it should be within 1-year-old tire not more than that because due to atmospheric temperature and direct sunlight or rain this weather will spoil the rubber material of the tire. So if you purchase the tire within one year then its OK but if it exceeds more than one year old as a tire engineer I will not recommend you to buy because it also matters how they may store.
The tire you do not know that tire may get damage or anywhere in the tire it can get bulge or bubble when you use Even separation may happen so if more than one year does not purchase the tire.
The next point is the tire you can buy anything, we know two types of tire one is bias and another is radial bias mostly everyone is not using as much because of high-speed bikes everyone is using nowadays. Either it may be an R15, CBR or any high-speed bike mostly everyone is using tubeless tires. In tubeless tires radial usage is more because it has more comfort and more mileage that's why the radial sale is more but how many of you know that in radial tire we have three options. 1. is all steel radial 2.fabric to steel radial 3. fabric to fabric steel radial I am going to explain you simply.
No.1 Polyester It has been given here so polyester means what they are trying to explain to you is, while construction of this tire actually its a radial tire as you can see here tubeless radial tire here is given in the bottom of the tire. So here this brand what they mentioned is in sidewall Tread: 1 Polyester +2 steel so it means what in tread portion polyester one layer and 2 steel layers they have constructed so its basic construction will look like this bead to opposite bead they used nylon cords from this bead to another bead they stitch so the first layer construction is actually polyester in this tire it means what its nylon only, so this part is usually works like suspension but in this tire its weak so when it got puncture the car will completely unbalanced side in the radial direction, but not in all cases.
There are only 2 layers of steel in the middle because the cost of the tire is cheap its actually a brand name called WANDA a Food make its a cheap and best tire and i got this tire for 2100 or 2200 Rs only a car tire is just 2000 Rs only it means what they try to reduce the cost so quality also low so you mostly go for all steel radial donot choose radial to fabric tires maximum try to buy all steel radial tires its always best and safe also due to cost cutting and low price products they have these kinds of option so all steel radial tires are always best so the third point we gonna see about Speed rating as you can see here in sidewall you can see all details foe example 175/70 R13 and next is 82T so 'T' is stands for Speed rating so it actually shows in how much speed you can use this tire this tires you can use at the maximum speed of 190 km / ph so each tire has different kind of speed ratings.
So you can use those tires in that maximum speed if it goes more than that then it can burst tire manufactures use to test the ma ximum speed of the tire and they mention it it can be a bike tire or a car tire check the speed rating and buy the tire as per your stock tire speed rating what they mentioned choose the same speed rating tires. It is most important because the tire can burst to choose the speed rating that has been given in-stock tire. I have given the speed rating chart in screen check this it will be very useful for you. So the next point we gonna see is tread depth and tread wear indicator. So first I will explain what is tread depth?. It's actually this part grooves is called in technical terms as sea and this part is called land. I do not want to confuse you guys we'll check this sea area or grooves so this land area this particular portion depth thickness is called tread depth so in this tire when i measure in scale its 10 mm only so its nothing but tread depth and how much 1 mm will give mileage when it comes to big brands will usually claim 1 mm our brand tires
will give 100 km or 200 km or 400 km also new tires come with 400-500 km premium tires usually give more millage, but low cost tires like this one is a low cost tire so this 10 mm will give me approximately 10,000 - 15,000 km mileage may give so if it gives more very good but this tire won't give that much mileage because its compound and construction matters here so definitely when you buy new tire in tire showrooms ask them a small tread depth its a small gauge here i'll show you the picture you can see it, so everyone cant keep this gauge mostly technical person will have this, customer cant keep this but tire showrooms will have this gauge definitely they will have you can ask them to show but in local shops not possible i think so, ask them what's t
